Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SEG Fit collects, why, and your choices. SEG Fit (segfit.com) is operated by Slack Enterprise Group LLC, a New York limited liability company (“we”, “us”). It is intended for people in the United States who are 18 or older.

What we collect

Your email address, plus the account identifier and sign-in timestamps our sign-in provider creates, used to sign you in and identify your account. The training data you enter: workouts, plans, exercises, meals and macros, macro targets, and body measurements. Your settings: accent colour, username, and a record that you accepted the current version of our Terms and confirmed you had read this Privacy Policy. Any feedback you send us. And basic technical and sign-in logs, such as timestamps and network information, that our providers generate to run and secure the service.

Cookies and local storage

We use only the cookies needed to sign you in: a secure session cookie, and a short-lived cookie during the sign-in step. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. We also store a display preference in your browser — your chosen accent colour — so the app opens in your colour without a flash; you can clear it any time by clearing this site’s data.

How we use it

To provide SEG Fit: to sign you in, save and show your journal, respond to your feedback, and keep the service working and secure. We also process it where we must to meet a legal obligation or comply with a legally binding request. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your fitness information

Your workouts, measurements, and meal records may contain sensitive information about your health and activity. SEG Fit is a personal training journal and does not provide medical care. We process this information for the purposes described in this policy. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. Where applicable law requires consent for particular processing, we will request that consent separately. If you live in a state with a consumer health data law, such as Washington or Nevada, please also read our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

Providers and where data is stored

We rely on service providers who process data on our behalf to operate the app: Supabase (the database, sign-in, and sign-in emails) and Cloudflare (app hosting and network). Your account and journal are stored in the United States (Supabase, Northern Virginia), and backups are held in the United States too; Cloudflare processes requests through its global network to deliver the app. When you email us — for example to make a privacy or deletion request — that message is handled by our email provider (Google). Access to your data is limited to us as the operator and to these providers as needed to run, secure, and support the service, except for disclosures required by law.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers that run the app on our behalf, and only as needed to operate it, or where the law requires. We do not sell or rent your information.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual entries at any time in the app. To delete your whole account, use “Delete account” in your account settings or email slackenterprisegroup@gmail.com; we remove your account and its journal records, including the feedback you sent in the app and your acceptance record. Copies may remain in routine daily backups for up to about seven days before they rotate out. We keep technical and sign-in logs only as long as needed to run and secure the service and to meet legal obligations. Emails you send us, including any feedback sent by email, are kept only as long as needed to handle and record your request, then deleted.

Your rights

You can view and correct your entries in the app, export a copy with “Download my data”, and delete your entries or your whole account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy laws, such as to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data. To make a request, contact slackenterprisegroup@gmail.com; we may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time and manner your applicable law requires, and otherwise within a reasonable time. We will not charge you for a reasonable request.

Security

Each account’s records are isolated so one member cannot read another’s, and sign-in uses secure cookies. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Children

SEG Fit is for adults 18 and over. We do not direct it to children or knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do. We will provide prominent notice of material changes in the app, and obtain consent where required by applicable law.
