Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains how Slack Enterprise Group LLC, a New York limited liability company (“we”, “us”), handles consumer health data in SEG Fit (segfit.com). It adds to our Privacy Policy and is provided for residents of US states with consumer health data laws, such as Washington and Nevada. Words used here have the meaning given by those laws.

What we treat as consumer health data

The entries you make that describe your body or activity: workouts and exercises (including sets, reps, weight, and duration), body measurements (such as weight, waist, chest, and hips), meals and nutrition (including calories and macros), your nutrition targets, and the progress calculated from these. Your email, username, and app colour are not consumer health data.

How we collect it

We collect this data directly from you, when you enter it in the app. We do not buy it, and we do not gather it from other apps, devices, sensors, or third parties.

Why we use it

Only to provide SEG Fit to you: to save and show your journal, calculate your progress, respond to your feedback, and keep the service working and secure. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.

How we share it

We do not sell your consumer health data, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that operate the app on our behalf, and only as needed to run it, or where the law requires. Those providers are: Supabase (database, sign-in, and sign-in emails), Cloudflare (app hosting and network), Resend (delivering our emails), and Google (handling emails you send to us). Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms and does not receive it to use for its own purposes.

Consent

When you create your account, we ask for your consent to collect and use this data to run your journal, separately from your agreement to our Terms. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your data or your account in Account → Privacy and data. Because the journal cannot work without this data, withdrawing consent means we can no longer provide it to you.

Your rights

You have the right to access the consumer health data we hold (download a copy in Account → Privacy and data), to delete it, and to withdraw your consent. We will not deny you the service, charge you a different price, or give you a different quality of service for exercising these rights, except that the app cannot run without the data it needs to work. To make a request, or to appeal a decision, contact us at slackenterprisegroup@gmail.com; we may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time and manner your applicable law requires.
